Morning Meander: Madison Avenue Pinelands

Start your day outdoors and join us for a hike at Madison Avenue Pinelands trailhead (#7). We plan to hike 2.0 miles (1.0 mile out and back) over sandy hills. This program will meet at the Madison Avenue Pinelands trailhead (#7). Suitable for adults.

Learn about some of the many strategies our small Pine Bush residents use to get through the coldest season along this 0.9 mile hike. This program is suitable for ages 6+.

Join us for a program on one of the largest mammals in the Pine Bush. We will talk about white-tailed deer biology and behavior as we hike 0.9 miles looking for signs of deer in their habitat. This program is suitable for ages 6+

Take a break from your day and join us to enjoy the winter scenery and fresh air as we walk a 0.9 mile loop over sand dunes through a rare ecosystem. If there is snow, we will provide snowshoes. This program is suitable for all ages.
Full Moon Hike at Karner Barrens

Enjoy the Pine Bush at night under a full moon. We will meet at the Discovery Center and then hike 0.9 mile over rolling sand dunes at the Karner Barrens Trailhead. This program is suitable for adults.
