Go below the snow and explore the subnivean zone! These kits include information and activities to help you learn about the fascinating world that exists between the surface of the snow and the ground in the Albany Pine Bush Preserve. Stop by between 10am and 11am on Saturday March 6, 2021 to pick up a Discovery Kit.
Kits will be handed out on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. We have a limited number available. When you arrive at the Discovery Center follow the signs to the bus parking area in front of the building. We will be set up there to hand you your kit as you drive up.
Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center
From I-87 take exit 2W (Rt 5 West, Central Avenue). Follow Rt 5 for about 2 miles then turn left onto Rt 155 (New Karner Rd). Continue on Rt 155 for about 1.2 miles. The Discovery Center is located on the left at 195 New Karner Road. (518)456-0655
