Nature Journaling - Let's Draw Birds!
Sunday, September 20, 2026 | 1:00 pm
Come spend part of your day with us as we draw inspiration from the nature and pause to observe life in the Pine Bush. We will start in the Discovery Center to explore some simple journaling activities and then continue outside for a 0.9 mile hike to practice journaling.
Friday, September 25, 2026 | 6:00 pm
Enjoy the Pine Bush Preserve at night with a hike to watch the almost full moon rise. This program is suitable for all ages.
Saturday, September 26, 2026 | 11:00 am
Wildlife scat, also known as poop, tells us a great deal about an animal, including what kind of animal left the scat and what that animal ate. In this program we will start indoors with a short presentation and then go outside for a 0.9 mile hike in search of scat. This program is suitable for ages 6+

Join us for a short hike over rolling sand dunes to discover the amazing world of buckmoths. This program is suitable for ages 6+.

Join us for a short walk over rolling sand dunes to discover the amazing world of barrens buckmoths. This program is suitable for adults.
Community Science: Snowpack Monitoring Volunteer Training

Volunteers who live within a half mile of the preserve are invited to learn how your efforts monitoring snowpack around the preserve can help us understand wildlife population dynamics.
