Would you like to find out more about the 3,350 acre preserve that you live next to? Did you know that the Albany Pine Bush is rare and needs to be managed in order to survive?

We’d like to meet our neighbors and hear your thoughts, questions and ideas about upcoming mowing and tree thinning scheduled to take place on Albany Pine Bush Preserve lands near your home in 2019 and early 2020.

A meeting will be held at the Point of Woods Drive Recreation Center on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 7pm. Additional information about this habitat restoration work will be presented followed by an opportunity for questions or ideas from you.

As we continue to implement wildlife habitat restoration in the preserve we understand that those who live nearby may be impacted in both short and long-term ways.

Therefore, we welcome your thoughts, questions and ideas about how best to complete this work while minimizing impacts to you as preserve neighbors.
