Suitable for adults

Take a walk with us in the Albany Pine Bush – a globally rare, nationally significant, and locally distinct inland pine barrens!  We’ll connect to this amazing ecosystem through in-depth observation, and reflection, and take advantage of the health benefits of nature by slowing down and fully experiencing the unique and endangered natural communities and species of the Albany Pine Bush Preserve.  We’ll meet inside the Discovery Center before heading out for a 0.9-mile hike over rolling sand dunes.
