Community Science: FrogWatch Volunteer Training

Suitable for tweens, teens and adults. Children under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
This is an online training. Make a reservation and you will be emailed a link to join the meeting on March 1 at 6:30pm. Please check your SPAM folder.
This Training: The evening will provide an introduction to FrogWatch, a community science program of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Volunteers will then train to become certified FrogWatchers.
The Survey: From February through August, certified FrogWatchers will listen to and report frogs and toads calling in the Albany Pine Bush Preserve study area.
All volunteers are required to complete volunteer forms prior to volunteering with the preserve. These forms can be completed online, and information will be provided upon your registration.
