Answer: SPIDER

Spiders are actually not insects.  They are arachnids and are more closely related to mites and ticks than they are to insects. Insects have 3 body parts, 6 legs, antennae, and compound eyes. Spiders have 2 body parts and 8 legs. We do not yet know how many different species of spiders reside in the Pine Bush, but we do know that these diverse predators are an important part of the Albany Pine Bush web of life.
