RHIFSE

Answer: Fisher

The fisher is a carnivorous mammal and is usually referred to as a “fisher cat”, although it is not a cat! It is in the weasel family. They are covered in dark brown fur and can grow to almost four feet long with males weighing up to 13 lbs and females half that. The fisher is a forest dwelling animal that can climb and descend trees easily given the ability to rotate their hind feet almost 180 degrees. They feed on small mammals and porcupine. Despite their name, they rarely eat fish!
