Answer: COYOTE

The Eastern Coyote is one of the largest mammals found in the Albany Pine Bush. These opportunistic omnivores eat a varied diet consisting of small mammals, insects, berries, white-tailed deer and carrion. They mate for life and travel with pups as a family unit until the pups are full grown, around 9 months. Eastern coyotes communicate with howls, barks and yips and have been photographed by remote wildlife cameras stationed within the preserve.
