What are Teen Science Cafés?
A series of free, fun, out-of-school events where teens get to socialize over food and refreshments and have the opportunity to talk with local scientists and engineers about current, cutting-edge ideas in science and technology, all in a relaxed and informal setting.

Teen Science Cafés are for teens, by teens. A core group of Teen Leaders, with the committed mentorship of an adult, meet regularly to plan and run the café events.

Who are Teen Leaders?
Teen Leaders make cafés happen. They may do everything from deciding which experts to invite, what snacks to have, and how to advertise. Teen Leaders also take photographs, design flyers, run meetings, and introduce speakers.  Availability to attend meetings is required.

All teens are welcome! Parents and guardians are invited to stay and learn about Teen Science Café opportunities!

RSVPs appreciated.
