Join us for an evening walk along the purple trail at Madison Ave Pinelands (trailhead #7) to listen for Great Horned Owls. We will start our walk with a brief natural history of this nocturnal raptor then walk the purple trail to Old State Rd and back to listen for their deep hooting call. This program meets at the Madison Ave Pinelands Trailhead (#7).

Trailhead #7 Madison Avenue Pinelands
Directions from Discovery Center to Madison Ave. Ext. (Trailhead 7). At traffic light in front of Discovery Center building, turn left onto Route 155. Proceed to .5 miles to next traffic light. Turn right at traffic light onto Madison Ave. Ext. Proceed .2 miles to stop sign. Proceed straight for another .25 miles until the road dead ends at trailhead.
