Suitable for teens and adults

There is incredible beauty in nature, from magnificent birds, flowers, and landscapes to the tiniest insects. Join us on Zoom for this workshop led by Denise Hackert-Stoner of Naturelogues. Suitable for all levels of photographers with a variety of equipment, this virtual program covers the basic elements of nature photography including light, composition, and focus. We will discuss how these elements apply to close-ups, landscapes, and wildlife photography both within the Albany Pine Bush and beyond, and how simple editing can bring out the best in your images.

The award-winning nature photography of Denise Hackert-Stoner and Scott Stoner of Naturelogues has been exhibited in galleries throughout New York’s Capital Region. They provided much of the photography for the new visitor center at the Five Rivers Environmental Education Center in Delmar, and serve as longtime judges for the Albany Pine Bush’s annual photo contest. Their work has appeared in numerous publications including National Wildlife, Birder’s World, the New York State Conservationist, and several books.  Visit them at naturelogues.com or on Facebook.

Please reserve one ticket for your entire party.

If you have trouble logging in the evening of the program please contact support@albanypinebush.org for help.
