Meet Kathy Slade- a member of our fire crew and June’s volunteer of the month!
Thank you Kathy for donating your time and skill to the Preserve’s prescribed fire program!

Nominated by Fire Manager Tyler Briggs, her reliable help with prescribed burns in the preserve has played an important role in the safe execution of every burn she has been on. Tyler says, “Kathy is a great member of the fire crew. She works hard and is always safe on the fireline. She is good operating a UTV/engine and with a drip torch. I appreciate Kathy's help.”
