Join Botanists Steve Young and Laura Lehtonen at the Albany Pine Bush Preserve for a NY Flora Association Learn 10... program on grasses! We will spend time both inside the classroom and outdoors along the trail to learn the tricks of the trade when it comes to correctly identifying grasses. This program is suitable for adults.

It's Turtle Time! Join us for a brief introduction to one of our Discovery Center turtle ambassadors on select Wednesdays and Fridays this summer from 2:00-2:30pm. A maximum of 30 individuals will be allowed in the classroom for each program. Participants will be allowed in on a first come, first served basis. Suitable for all ages.

Join us for a 0.9 mile hike over sandy rolling terrain where we discuss how to identify oaks and talk about their special role in this rare-ecosystem. This program is suitable for adults.
