Suitable for all ages
Enjoy the Pine Bush at night with a hike to watch the moonrise. We’ll walk approximately 1.2 miles over rolling sand dunes without the aid of artificial light and will stop intermittently to enjoy the preserve at night.This program will meet at the Kings Highway Barrens trailhead (#9).

Trailhead #9 Kings Highway Barrens
Directions from Discovery Center to Kings Highway Barrens (Trailhead 9). At traffic light in front of Discovery Center building, continue straight through intersection, onto Old State Road. Follow Old State Rd. 0.6 miles to 3 way stop sign intersection. At stop sign, turn right onto Kings Road. Continue straight on Kings Road for 1.3miles. Trailhead will be on your right hand side of the road. Look for pull off area, split rail fencing, and brown kiosk.
