Suitable for ages 10+

Want to get into birding, but don’t know where to start? Join us on an approximately 0.4-mile adventure through the preserve to look for birds! We’ll work together to learn how to use binoculars and identify birds by sight and sound. We will be taking the accessible Discovery Loop to search for birds of all shapes and sizes, and practice listening for and recognizing bird calls.  We’ll slow down, pausing frequently to listen and look for birds and observe their activities! We will have binoculars and field guides to help us identify any birds we may encounter. This program meets at the Discovery Center.
