This training: Volunteer community scientists can make valuable contributions that help conservation professionals manage invasive species. The evening will provide an introduction to iMap Invasives, an online mapping tool for sharing invasive species data. Information on setting up an account to enter the information on the iMap Invasives site is also provided.
The Survey: Volunteers will use iMap Invasives to independently document invasive species year-round in the preserve & in the neighborhood. Surveys can be conducted any time of day/year. Data is entered online on the iMap Invasives site.
All volunteers are required to complete volunteer forms prior to volunteering with the preserve. These forms can be completed online, and information will be provided upon your registration.
