Suitable for ages 8+

The Albany Pine Bush Preserve is home to an amazing diversity of pollinators. Join us to learn about some of the most prolific and important pollinators of the pine barrens...bees! We will start with a presentation on pollinators featuring some of the major genera of bees found in this area and the many ways they benefit both people and the pine barrens. We will then go for a 0.9 mile hike where we'll keep an eye out for signs of pollinators and the plants that support them. This program meets inside the Discovery Center.
