2019 was a very successful summer!

Our science staff concluded the 2019 summer bird banding on August 6. They had a great season processing a total of 636 birds from 58 species at two 20 acre sites. The top 10 birds include 131 Gray Catbird, 121 American Robin, 70 Baltimore Oriole, 55 Prairie Warbler, 47 Field Sparrow, 36 Common Yellow-throat, 26 Orchard Oriole, 23 Black-Capped Chickadee, 18 House Wren, and 16 Chestnut-sided Warbler.
