Community Science: FrogWatch Volunteer Training

Full Moon Hike at Kings Highway Barrens
Friday, March 14, 2025 | 6:00 pm
Enjoy the night under a full moon and experience some of the unique features of the Pine Bush after the sun goes down. We will meet at the Kings Highway Barrens trailhead (#9) and then hike the 1.2 mile Red Trail. This program is suitable for families.

Want to get into birding, but don’t know where to start? Come explore the Yellow Trail at Karner Barrens as we walk through the preserve and look for birds! Suitable for ages 11-17 with an adult.

Sunday, March 16, 2025 | 2:00 pm
Join us to learn about hawks and owls and why the Albany Pine Bush Preserve is an important habitat for raptors. This program is suitable for adults.
