The calendar says it is spring, but what clues does nature give us that reveal the arrival of spring? Come experience the change of seasons, sharpen your observation skills, and get to know some of the flora and fauna of the Albany Pine Bush during this 1.5 mile guided hike. We will meet at the Truax Trail Barrens Trailhead (#12).

Directions from Discovery Center to Truax Barrens (Trailhead 12)
At traffic light in front of Discovery Center building, continue straight through intersection, on Old State Road. Follow Old State Rd. 0.6 miles to 3 way stop sign intersection. At stop sign, turn right onto Kings Road. Continue straight on Kings Road for .1 miles.
