This training: We will learn about the American Woodcock, an enigmatic woodland "shorebird" that has been declining in numbers since the 1960s, and how you can help us monitor them in the preserve.
The Survey: Between April 20th & May 15th volunteers will conduct 5 independent surveys along APBP trails, listening for the American woodcock displaying at dusk.
All volunteers are required to complete volunteer forms prior to volunteering with the preserve. These forms can be completed online, and information will be provided upon your registration.
