Start your day outdoors and join us for a hike at the Kings Highway Barrens trailhead (#9). We plan to hike 1.2 miles over sandy and possibly snow covered hills. Snowshoes will be provided if needed. This program will meet at the Kings Highway Barrens trailhead (#9).

Trailhead #9 Kings Highway Barrens
Directions from Discovery Center to Kings Highway Barrens (Trailhead 9). At traffic light in front of Discovery Center building, continue straight through intersection, onto Old State Road. Follow Old State Rd. 0.6 miles to 3 way stop sign intersection. At stop sign, turn right onto Kings Road. Continue straight on Kings Road for 1.3miles. Trailhead will be on your right hand side of the road. Look for pull off area, split rail fencing, and brown kiosk.
