Adults are invited to a free collage workshop with artist Mara Lefebvre at the Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center. We will spend time both indoors and outdoors learning about the art of collage and the diversity of birds here in the Albany Pine Bush Preserve. Join us as we enjoy an afternoon of decorating cards inspired by the beauty of birds and explore the fun of designing bird portraits by simply cutting and gluing decorative papers to create your original artworks. Participants will learn collage techniques and take home a packet of cards and envelopes. No experience is necessary and all materials will be provided.
Mara Lefebvre is a visual artist with a Fine Arts degree from Skidmore College. She has taught workshops at Hudson Valley Community College, the Colonie Library, and retreat centers in the Northeast. Mara is inspired by the beauty of nature and creates in her ranch house studio overlooking her garden.

From I-87 take exit 2W (Rt 5 West, Central Avenue). Follow Rt 5 for about 2 miles then turn left onto Rt 155 (New Karner Rd). Continue on Rt 155 for about 1.2 miles. The Discovery Center is located on the left at 195 New Karner Road. (518)456-0655
