Start your day outdoors and join us for a hike along the the new trail at Kings Highway Barrens. We plan to hike approximately 1.5 miles over sandy hills.

Trailhead #9 Kings Highway Barrens
Directions from Discovery Center to Kings Highway Barrens (Trailhead 9). At traffic light in front of Discovery Center building, continue straight through intersection, onto Old State Road. Follow Old State Rd. 0.6 miles to 3 way stop sign intersection. At stop sign, turn right onto Kings Road. Continue straight on Kings Road for 1.3miles. Trailhead will be on your right hand side of the road. Look for pull off area, split rail fencing, and brown kiosk.
