The Albany Pine Bush Preserve will host its annual Smokey Bear Day on Saturday October 5, 2024, 10am – 2pm at the Discovery Center located at 195 New Karner Road in Albany.

Karner blue butterflies headed to New Hampshire
After sampling birds this morning Steve Campbell and Neil Gifford helped collect 14 endangered Karner blue butterflies to augment the gentics in the Concord, NH population.
