DESCRIPTION:\n	This program is suitable for ages 8+.\n\n	Join us on this 0.9 mile hike to look for the Karner blue butterfly and wild blue lupine flowers.  Once common in the Glacial Lake Albany sandbelt\, the Karner blue plumetted in numbers and was listed as a federally endangered species in 1992. Come learn about the natural history of the Karner blue and our efforts to increase the population of Karner blues in the Albany Pine Bush Preserve.
