DESCRIPTION:\n	Suitable for ages 10+\n\n	Why do we burn the Pine Bush? Join a member of our Prescribed Fire Crew for a walk along a recently burned site in the preserve to learn why prescribed fire is important for the Albany Pine Bush Preserve. We will talk about the differences between prescribed fire and wildfire\, the benefits of prescribed fire\, and how we prepare for and conduct a prescribed burn. We will meet at the Discovery Center and then caravan to a recently burned site.
