SUMMARY:Botanical Drawing With Colored Pencils: Lupine at the Pine Bush
DESCRIPTION:\n	Suitable for beginner and intermediate students\, ages 14+\n	In this 2.5 hour class participants will learn the basics of Botanical Drawing with artist Nancy Lyons in the beautiful setting of the Albany Pine Bush Preserve. The process of Botanical Drawing begins with gradual toning with simple geometric shapes that turn into all the forms in nature. This process will make your piece three-dimensional and pop off the page. We will begin our forms by layering neutral tones and putting on top color with colored pencils. By the end of class students will have created a beautiful lupine. Materials will be provided.\n	 \n\n	This program is part of our 2025 Lupine Fest passport program\, where you can earn prizes by participating in events all month long!
