- The first twenty shoppers will receive a free gift.
- All shoppers who spend $100 or more in the Discovery Center Gift Shop will receive $20 off their purchase.
- Local artist, artisans and authors will be at the Discovery Center for you to meet.
- 20% of purchases from these local artists will be donated to the Friends of the Pine Bush Community.
On Sunday, December 1, 2019, more than 1,000 Museum Stores representing all fifty states and the District of Columbia, fifteen countries, and four continents will offer relaxing, inspired shopping inside your favorite museums and cultural institutions. Museum Store Sunday offers a special shopping experience in one-of-a kind stores, showcasing broad assortments of highly curated, unique, mission-specific gifts. From books to jewelry to children’s products to home accessories, there is something for everyone. Shop knowing you are supporting the missions and programs of each participating museum and cultural institution.
We invite you, your family, and your community, to “Be A Patron” at The Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center on Museum Store Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Holiday shoppers will not only find quality gifts filled with inspiration and educational value, but through their purchases, will also help support the work of the Albany Pine Bush Preserve Commission. Shoppers foster ongoing appreciation and knowledge of nature, culture, science, and history. When you, the patron, purchase a gift from the Discovery Center, you help to support the Albany Pine Bush Preserve Commission’s work.
Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center
From I-87 take exit 2W (Rt 5 West, Central Avenue). Follow Rt 5 for about 2 miles then turn left onto Rt 155 (New Karner Rd). Continue on Rt 155 for about 1.2 miles. The Discovery Center is located on the left at 195 New Karner Road. (518)456-0655
