SUMMARY:Free! Learn to Fish Clinic at Six Mile Waterworks
DESCRIPTION:\n	Suitable for all ages\n\n	Learn how to fish with the NYS DEC\, Albany Pine Bush Preserve Commission\, City of Albany and Albany County. Participants can learn how to cast a rod and catch fish\, as well as fish identification\, fishing equipment and techniques\, fisheries management\, angling ethics\, aquatic ecology\, and more! All equipment is provided free of charge. No prior experience or license needed. Raindate: Sunday May 31\, 2026.\n\n	Six Mile Waterworks is located in the City of Albany and the easternmost region of the Albany Pine Bush Preserve just off Fuller Road\, about 0.2 miles north of I-90.\n\n	\n	During these clinics no freshwater fishing license or enrollment in the recreational marine fishing registry is required*\, but all other statewide freshwater fishing regulations and saltwater fishing regulations remain in effect (*Kids under 16 can always fish for free!).\n	\n	 \n
