SUMMARY:Botanical Drawing With Colored Pencils
DESCRIPTION:\n	Suitable for beginner and intermediate students\, ages 14+\n	In this 2.5 hour class participants will learn the basics of Botanical Drawing with artist Nancy Lyons in the beautiful setting of the Albany Pine Bush Preserve. The process of Botanical Drawing begins with gradual toning with simple geometric shapes that turn into all the forms in nature. This process will make your piece three-dimensional and pop off the page. We will begin our forms by layering neutral tones and putting on top color with colored pencils. By the end of class students will have created a beautiful lupine. Materials will be provided. This program meets inside the Discovery Center.\n	 \n\n	This program is part of our 2026 Lupine Fest passport program. Use your passport to explore Lupine Fest all month long!
